Did we know about these dual creationists controversial credentials..?
1. RICHARD BLISS, before a part of of a ICR staff, claimed to be "a famous consultant in a margin of scholarship education" as well as was co-author of a "two-model" book which creationists have pushed for make use of in a open propagandize system.
Bliss claimed to consequence a D.Ed. from a University of Sarasota in 1978. A prior chronicle of this essay described a university as a "diploma indent handling out of a Florida motel" as late as 1984. However, a university’s standing has given improved. The University of Sarasota was accredited in 1990 by a Southern Association of Colleges as well as Schools to accede to masters as well as doctoral degrees. According to a 1997 book of Bears’ Guide to Earning College Degrees Nontraditionally [1], a student’s sum residency during a University of Sarasota can be as reduced as 6 weeks.
2. CLIFFORD BURDICK, a researcher for a Creation Research Society as well as a part of of a Creation-Science Research Center, is a "flood" geologist who has outlayed forty years perplexing to infer which hulk humans once roamed a earth as well as even mingled with a dinosaurs.
Burdick has displayed a duplicate of his Ph.D. from a University of Physical Sciences (Phoenix, Arizona) in Carl Baugh’s Glen Rose Creation Evidence Museum. According to Ronald Numbers’ The Creationists [2]: "[Creationist Walter Lammerts'] inquiries suggested a University of Physical Science to be zero some-more than a purebred trademark. As described in a memographed bulletin, ‘The University is not an tutorial institution, though a multitude of people of usual seductiveness for a enrichment of earthy science. There have been no campus, professors or price fee.’"
Thank you

Credentials gained from unaccredited sources seem to be rife within the creationist arena. I wonder why?
Most branches of modern science were founded by believers in creation. Evolution does not have such a list !!!
Physics Newton, Faraday, Maxwell, Kelvin, Joule
Chemistry Boyle, Dalton, Ramsay
Biology Ray, Linnaeus, Mendel, Pasteur, Virchow, Agassiz
Geology Steno, Woodward, Brewster, Buckland, Cuvier
Astronomy Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Herschel, Maunder
Mathematics Pascal, Leibnitz, Euler
Note that we are not claiming that they all agreed on every aspect of creation; rather, they refute the common evolutionary arguments that "no creationists can be real scientists" and that "denying evolution will return us to the Dark Ages."
Even today, many scientists reject particles-to-people evolution (i.e., everything made itself).
Dr Russell Humphreys, a nuclear physicist working with Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has had over 20 articles published in physics journals, while Dr John Baumgardner’s catastrophic plate tectonics theory was reported in Nature. Dr Edward Boudreaux of the University of New Orleans has published 26 articles and four books in physical chemistry. Dr Maciej Giertych, head of the Department of Genetics at the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, has published 90 papers in scientific journals. Dr Raymond Damadian invented the lifesaving medical advance of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Do you think I made this up?
C S Lewis expands on the idea and shows why the non Christian really has no logical alternative but to accept that Jesus is God:
“I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God; or else a madman or something worse.
You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. “
if you see a creationist, proving creationist hypothesis with the scientific method, so be it, its just that they dont, i personally dont care about their credentials, its the truth thats important.
and yet, creationists openly lie, so this isnt much of a surprise.
btw, Micky, bringing up scientists who are creationists BEFORE the theory of evolution, is lying… they never were disproving evolution because the theory wasnt around yet.
@Mickey GG You can hardly claim that that list of people are creationists. Come on, the theory of evolution hadn’t even come about yet in their day. And I’ve never heard of any of them promoting creationism.
Your list is a cheap trick and it failed.
This is not new these guys get together and issue each other degrees involving any thing that might give them traction anyone can go online get a degree or get ordained it’s really quite common…sad but true…no real accredited University gives creationism any credence…it’s just church boy folly.
