Florida is season driven. During the winter months, your 110% booked, during the summer, you run a lot of specials. Florida has heat, hurricanes and bugs – all of which cost money to control.
Seattle has four seasons, but business is relatively similar thru those seasons. No hurricanes, heat is generally not a problem, cost of living can be higher.
Each place has its advantages and disadvantages, do you like sun or gray skies, four distinct seasons or days that are about the same.
Chose where you would like to live and then investigate the business in that area.
