We stayed the night in San Antonio on June 17 at Americas Best Value Inn 1250 Austin Highway. We got “Best Buy” rates on AOL Travel for $50/night. With taxes it cost $59.69. The rooms were clean, but sparsely furnished, adequate for sleeping, which is all we did there.
look for where the hookers walk the streets,,,,,but if you want something better than go for the motel 8

Be nicer to mom than that. Put her in one of those suites on Perrin Beitel or Fredricksburg. They go for $199 a week. If she is going to stay that long. Otherwise, motel 8 and motel 6 and red roof inn are nice and not too expensive.
