There are 3 suggestions to question “Going to Montreal for the first time in June…?”

  1. You might want to look into the HI-Montreal (Hostelling International). They have shared dorms from $26/night, and private rooms from $86 ($75 for HI members). That’s about the cheapest accommodations you’ll find in Montreal, but it’s still clean and has great character. It’s literally two minutes from Crescent Street (and Sainte-Catherine), which is the hub of Montreal’s night life.

  2. Yes I agree. However I found this really cheap motel near Mount Royal once. Still unsure of the name but you can try to google it.

  3. The area you outlined for a hotel is the main downtown tourist area of montreal. I am pretty sure that 75 dollars in June will not get you much if anything at all.

Mcgill University which is right in the area you mentioned rents out student residences in the summer your 75 bucks might get you in there. I would act quickly if I were you.

Your suggestion?
