There are 4 suggestions to question “Motel 6, Los Angeles OR Rodeway Inn Hollywood?”

  1. it is OK, but not great, near freeway, a lot of noice, you have to take 2 buses( 217 to sunset, 2 to UCLA) and 45 min ride.

want to near UCLA , you are expect to pay at least $200, most time they charge $300 per night.

  2. You should have come here first…the regulars know Motel 6 has the best deals in L.A.

  3. Why would you want to stay on Hollywood Blvd, when you can stay in Westwood? Westwood is SO much nicer. Hollywood can be, shall we say, rather gritty. I tend to believe most of the reviews, especially on TripAdvisor. Some are put up by hotel shills, but if someone has a bad experience, they’ll be happy to tell you about it. You didn’t say which Motel 6 or Rodeway Inn, but if they are the two in Hollywood, I would definitely spend some more and stay someplace nicer.

If you can possibly stay at the UCLA Guest House, then I highly recommend it.
    .

  4. UCLA & USC are both in rather bad parts of town so would avoid staying near to them. As a rule of thumb staying as neaar to the coast as possible is the safest plcae for you to stay. Get a car and travel to where you want to go.
