Ville Brossard / Montreal?

Greetings,
I am formulation to go to Montreal this summer, though given we a seeking for a motel rsther than than a hotel, we was wondering if there is any Metro accessability from Ville Brossard to downtown Montreal. If not, what is a most appropriate approach to go.
Thanks,
Leirum

There are 3 suggestions to question “Ville Brossard / Montreal?”

  1. it’s a hassle from brossard, without a car. the only metro on the south shore is in longeuil called "Longueuil". and if you got a bus that goes from brossard to the metro, it comes at every hour. AND it doesn’t included the montreal’s public system, meaning you’ll have to pay like $4 for the bus, and then another $3 when you get to the metro (which is part of montreal).

listen, i went to nyc for new years, we were staying in queens (far from the subway), so what we did was call and cab from the hotel, they charged us $15 but we were 4, the cab drop us off at the subway in Jamaica, then we had bought i think a week pass. we worked it out like that. just an idea, just to give you an option.

if you absolutely HAVE to stay in brossard, ok, but if you don’t have to, at least get something at a walking distance to Longueuil metro. or if it’s cuz you don’t wanna pay too much for a hotel, lots of hotels in montreal are really affordable.

  2. No métro. But there is a public transport system (buses)

  3. No subway. The best way will be bus. However, if you don’t need to be in Brossard, I suggest you find your motel in Longueuil. There’s a subway there and it will be easier to get to Montreal.
