Whats the best (inexpensive) hotel around Citizen’s Bank Park in Philadephia?
I will be roving to Philadelphia in mid-April to see a phils/cubs series. I’m seeking for a most appropriate valued motel around a ballpark. Any advice/help would be great!

The only hotel that’s close is the Holiday Inn. I don’t know what the cost is, but I don’t think it’s very high. There are several hotels and motels at the airport, which is just a short drive away.
Holiday Inn

check them out and see if they have something
Go to hotels.com. They will get you the best rate for sure- then plan on eating at the numerous BYOB’s that are all over phila….don’t waste your money on chain restaurants with below average food for high prices. The bring your own booze restaurants have 5 star chefs for dinners as cheap as $14 for seafood and $20 for steak. and yes, you bring your own bottle of wine…and don’t skip dessert- they are usually big enough to share and aren’t that expensive…and if you have a car- go to the King of prussia mall outside of Phila and go to the CHEESEFACTORY for the best cheesecake in the world….it’s in the mall. the prices for your hotel will vary from when you want to go– and there’s lot of public transportation- train, bus and cab, like new york…..so even check priceline for a hotel if you have time to bargain.
