I will be roving to Philadelphia Apr 12th for a Phillies game. we have NO thought where to stay, as I’ve never been to a city before. i’ll usually be in locale for a single night as well as would similar to to stay somewhere comparatively poor as well as clean. Thanks!
If you want to stay right by the stadium, there’s actually a Holiday Inn down the street from Citizen’s Bank Park.
But, the area where the stadiums are doesn’t really have all that much else to do. If you’re just coming into town for the first time, and want to do things besides going to the game, I’d stay somewhere in Center City and then take the subway to the stadium area. But if you’re just in town for the game, then the Holiday Inn is probably your best bet– it’s definitely cheaper than Center City hotels anyway.
The Holiday Inn is right on the property – you can get to all four venues from there.
